1. Accepting these terms
By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website or submit the online form. “WBS,” “we,” and “us” mean the business operating this website as WBS Landscaping.
2. Website information
The website provides general information about service types, process, coverage, and common project considerations. Content is not professional engineering, drainage, legal, insurance, horticultural, or other specialized advice for a specific property.
WBS may correct or update service descriptions, availability, prices, images, and other website content without notice.
3. Quote requests do not create a contract
Submitting a form, receiving an automated acknowledgement, discussing a project, or receiving an early range does not create a service contract or reserve a date. Work begins only after the parties approve the applicable written scope or agreement and any required scheduling or payment terms.
4. Pricing ranges and calculator outputs
Any range, example, savings figure, calculator output, or “typical” price shown on the website is general planning information only. It is not an offer, estimate, guarantee, or quote for your property.
Actual price can depend on measurements, access, grade, drainage, soil, buried or hidden conditions, demolition, disposal, material choice and availability, delivery, taxes, schedule, and requested changes. Only the written project scope identifies the price and assumptions for a specific job.
5. Site conditions and changes
Photos and initial descriptions may not reveal all conditions. If hidden conditions or a requested change affect the approved work, WBS should explain the proposed scope, price, and schedule impact for agreement before proceeding with the extra work. Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights that apply to estimates or changes under Alberta law.
6. Service areas and scheduling
Listing a community or service does not guarantee availability. Project fit can depend on travel, route density, season, weather, material supply, site access, and current schedule. WBS may decline work that is outside its capabilities, service area, insurance, equipment, or available capacity.
7. Images, customer feedback, and examples
Website photographs are owned or licensed for use and show relevant materials, conditions, or service categories. A photograph is identified as WBS project work only when the page expressly says so. If customer feedback is published, it must come from genuine feedback and may be edited only for length or clarity without changing its meaning.
8. Acceptable website use
You may use the website for personal, lawful information and quote-request purposes. You may not interfere with site security, submit false or malicious information, attempt unauthorized access, copy substantial site content for commercial use, or use the website in a way that violates law or another person's rights.
9. Intellectual property
Website text, layout, branding, graphics, and original materials are owned by or licensed to WBS unless stated otherwise. You may view and print reasonable portions for personal project planning. No other reproduction or commercial use is permitted without written authorization.
10. Third-party services and links
The website uses third-party hosting, security, form, and email services and may link to external websites. WBS does not control an external provider's availability, security, content, or privacy practices. Review the provider's terms and policies where appropriate.
11. Website availability and liability
WBS works to keep the website accurate and available but does not promise uninterrupted or error-free access. To the extent permitted by law, WBS is not responsible for loss caused solely by reliance on general website content instead of a written project scope. This section does not exclude liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
12. Governing law
These website terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the applicable laws of Canada. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
13. Contact and changes
Questions about these terms can be submitted through the contact page or by calling (825) 794-2188. WBS may update these terms by posting a revised version and date.
