Our commitment
WBS Landscaping is committed to reducing digital barriers and providing a reasonable alternative when part of the website is difficult to use. Accessibility is treated as an ongoing part of design, content, testing, and maintenance.
Measures used on this website
- Semantic headings, landmarks, lists, buttons, links, and form labels.
- A skip link for keyboard and assistive-technology users.
- Keyboard-operable navigation, FAQ controls, service links, and form fields.
- Visible focus indicators and colour contrast designed for the dark theme.
- Responsive layouts that do not require a specific screen size.
- Alternative text for meaningful images and empty alt text for decorative images.
- Support for reduced-motion preferences.
- Plain-language service, privacy, and quote information.
Known limitations
The third-party form service and any page it displays after submission are not fully controlled by WBS. Some website photography comes from licensed sources, and image descriptions may not communicate every visual detail. The site may also change as new pages and approved project materials are added.
If any content or function creates a barrier, contact WBS and request the same information or service through an alternative method.
Feedback and accommodation requests
Use the contact form, choose “Accessibility or alternative-format request,” and describe the page, task, device or assistive technology, and the format or help that would work for you. You can also call (825) 794-2188. WBS will respond as soon as reasonably possible.
Assessment approach
The site is reviewed through automated build checks, keyboard-oriented design, responsive layouts, semantic markup, and manual content review. Full WCAG conformance requires broader manual testing, including representative assistive technologies, and remains an improvement goal.
Standards
The target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. This statement applies to pages on wbslandscaping.ca and does not claim control over linked or third-party websites.
Updating this statement
This statement will be updated when material accessibility changes are completed, known limitations change, or a formal assessment is performed.
